I like to not only work on the mechanics of riding to address balance, U\LE dissociation and coordination, visual scanning, vestibular processing, etc., but social skills and the confidence that comes with the success of such a tangible “kid skill”. I would help my students learn to visually focus on a targeted area or object to pedal to in order to help with the visual aspect of balance and movement in space.
