Caucasian honey bees are a subspecies of the Western Honey Bee and originate from the high valleys of the Central Caucasus, Georgia.

This was my first hive and they were surprisingly calm and chill. You could sit right in front of the hive entrance and they’d just go about their bee business.

Bees are truly fascinating and remarkable creatures and this has been a very rewarding hobby.
